NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STEEL-FRAMED HOUSING

Wiring
Steel house frames must be permanently earthed in accordance with the requirements of the local electricity authorities. A temporary earth should be established until a permanent earth is installed.

Installation of wiring for electrical services is made quick and easy by the provision of pre-punched service holes which can be plain or flared.

Plain holes, which can be either pre-punched, hand punched or cut out with a hole saw, require grommets to be fitted before wiring is pulled through.

Brackets and service fittings are screwed to the frame with self-drilling screws.
