NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STEEL-FRAMED HOUSING

Cost of Steel Framing
The frame typically represents about 10-15% of the completed building cost and as it dictates the quality of final product, it is important to get it right.

When comparing costs it is important to look at final cost including the lifetime cost of termite management systems where required, the cost and disruption of building call backs and ongoing maintenance to fix issues associated with an inferior frame.

Steel framing has shown itself to be competitive with other forms of construction.

Ask your builder to investigate the benefits of steel framing for you. Prices for steel framing can be obtained from NASH members servicing your area.
